Water Splash and Water Bottle

Today we’re here to talk about an important concept – one that very few people ever even think about as they go through their health and fitness progress.

Chances are, you’ve heard by now that it’s critically important that you stay hydrated all the time. Your body needs so much water and other fluids on a daily basis in order to survive.  Cut off this supply and you’ll last days at most.

As such, you may be making an effort to drink more water throughout the day.

Now, for those who are really health conscious, you may have made the step away from drinking out of plastic bottles that are not BPA free. This has become a very important topic in the last couple of years as people are becoming more aware of the dangers of drinking from these plastic bottles as chemicals from the plastic are leeching into the water.

This is a great start. Focusing on hydrating your body and not consuming water coming from plastic bottles (unless it explicitly states it’s BPA free) are two very critical things.

Those who have been really doing their research may choose to take this one step further.  Now, rather than just avoiding plastic, they’re choosing to drink only distilled water as well. They purchase a water filter to keep in their home or purchase filtered water in large bottles at the grocery store on a regular basis. This is basically water that has had its impurities removed through the process of boiling it and then condensing the steam.  This will eliminate excess chemicals or toxins that may be found if you were drinking regular tap water.

Whichever method you choose to get your distilled water, you may now feel like you have this issue covered. You are putting nothing but the best water in your system.

But are you?

What we’re here today to talk about takes this one step further. You see, when you drink regular water (whether or not its distilled), you are putting a substance into your body that has a charge.

Regular water has a positive charge and this positive charge is going to cause oxidation to occur.   What’s oxidation?

Think of oxidation as the rust on a car. It’s basically going to slowly wear you down, eating away at tissues and causing damage.  In your body, oxidation is what primarily causes the effects of aging.

Those who suffer from high levels of oxidation tend to age much faster, while those who do their part to protect against oxidation will notice they stay looking and feeling younger, longer.

If left to go on and progress, oxidation will eventually lead to degeneration and along with that, disease and eventually death.

Long story short, oxidation is something you want to avoid at all costs.

Now, you’ll never completely avoid it.  You’ll face elements in your day to day life that cause oxidation that are simply unavoidable. This includes chemicals that are released in the air of the city you live in (note that those who live in very busy urban areas with lots of air pollution will typically experience greater oxidation than those who don’t), as well as due to the foods you eat.

Eat the wrong foods in your diet and you can quickly accelerate the oxidation process.  As most people who are reading this right now know, what you eat can have a significant influence on the process of aging.

So right now, you have oxidation coming at you from a variety of sources. Some you can control, others you can’t.

Doing your best to take control of those sources of oxidation that you can control will ensure that you are keeping your body as healthy and fit as possible.

Now, you can go one step further by managing your water intake.

If you stop and think about it, you’re putting a high volume of water into your system each and every day. If this water is causing an increase in the speed of aging, you’ll really be moving yourself forward in the wrong direction quickly.

Symptoms Of Oxidation

So what are some of the signs that you may already be experiencing a high level of oxidation in your life?

Some of the most notable signs and/or symptoms of oxidation include:

  1.     Ongoing levels of fatigue

If you feel more fatigued than normal or it seems like no matter how much sleep you get at night, you still wake up feeling tired, this could be a sign that oxidation is taking place at high paces in your life.

  1.     Memory loss and/or foggy brain

Trouble staying focused or just otherwise feeling like you’re mentally cloudy are also signs of oxidation at work. Those who are able to effectively combat oxidation tend to have improved memory, a better capacity to stay focused, and a generally increased level of cognition.

When oxidation happens at accelerated rates, this can set you up to experience a higher risk factor for mental health issues such as Alzheimer’s disease.

  1.     Muscle Or Joint Pain

Constantly feeling aches and pains? That could also be a sign of oxidation at work. Joint pain that never seems to let up (or has become chronic) along with muscle aches that occur even with the slightest of tasks can indicate you are experiencing more oxidation than you should be.

  1.     Increased appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

As oxidation is a sign of rapid aging, you’ll also notice the increased appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.  You may also start to notice changes in your hair color as well with the appearance of grey hair starting to show.

  1.     Poor eyesight or a rapid change in prescription

As oxidation progresses, you may notice that your eyesight is changing as well and you may require a new prescription.

  1.     Constant headaches or migraine occurrence

If you’re experiencing ongoing headaches or suffer regularly from migraines, this too could be indicative of too much oxidation in your life.  While psychological stress can also cause frequent headaches so it’s important to rule that out, when they happen to be chronic, usually it’s more related to oxidative effects.

  1.     Increased risk for infections

Finally, with increased oxidative stress you’ll also put yourself at a higher risk for infections as well. If these infections strike and your body is already in a weakened state due to the impacts of oxidation, this can increase your chances of becoming seriously ill.

So as you can see, oxidation is something to take very seriously.  Making sure you are doing what you can to combat it will position you far better for overall health, well-being and longevity.

Combating Oxidation

Now that you have a better idea of what oxidation is and where it comes from, what can you do to put a stop to it?

Most people have heard of ‘antioxidants’ before. There are a great many different foods that you can eat that will provide you with a high degree of antioxidants.

These include:

  •      Kale
  •      Spinach
  •      Collard Greens
  •      Oranges
  •      Berries
  •      Grapefruits
  •      Grapes
  •      Almonds
  •      Walnuts
  •      Flaxseeds
  •      Chia Seeds
  •      Cinnamon
  •      Turmeric
  •      Ginger
  •      Garlic
  •      Onions
  •      Green tea
  •      Tomatoes
  •      Peppers
  •      Broccoli
  •      Salmon

Adding all of these powerful antioxidant rich foods to your diet will help you defend against oxidative damage.

Additionally, there are a great many different supplements on the market that all have the goal of providing antioxidant benefits to your body in mind.  So many in fact that this category is the number one selling type of supplement in today’s world.

Everyone everywhere wants to get more antioxidants to stop the process of aging.

You have a variety of different products including greens mixes, capsules, powders, liquids, and so forth.  If you want antioxidants, there’s no shortage of ways to get it.

The issue with all of these products however is that when you put them into your body, you are going to have to go through quite a process to break them down and begin utilizing them to reap the benefits they provide.

These supplements don’t provide a readily immediately supply of antioxidants. And, over time, they can really add up. Most don’t come at a low cost, so you can expect to pay quite a bit if you want to reap the benefits of their protection.

Of course you can always make smarter changes in your diet – and you should be doing so – but the fact remains that most people aren’t always able to eat right.

You may not constantly hit your 5-10 servings of fruits and vegetables each day and as such, start to fall short on the antioxidant side of things.

The Superior Source Of Antioxidants

So what’s the best way to increase your intake of antioxidants?

If you really want to defy aging and take control over your health and fitness level, you need to change the type of water you’re drinking.

Since each day you’re putting in so much water into your system, which we’ve already identified as having oxidizing effects, the best way to counteract oxidation is hit it where it starts.

While you can’t control oxidation from the environment as readily, water is a major source of oxidation and that is something you can control.

Introducing Kangen Water

To be putting the absolute healthiest water into your body, you want to removing the positive charge and instead, introducing a negative charge.

Now you can do that with an alkaline water ionizer machine.  This machine is going to have you putting regular water into it, where it then undergoes a process where the water is moved through a filter (which removes the choline and other sentiments – just like regular filtered water would) and then pushes the water through platinum plates.

As this takes place, the water is then separated into two tubes.  One tube will have very alkaline water that is rich in antioxidants and the other tube will have very acidic water, which is highly oxidative.

Now you’ll want to start drinking that ionized water, which will enter your system and start working immediately.

Unlike those supplements that have to go through this lengthy chemical process to be released and utilized by the body, this water you are now putting into your system is readily available immediately.

It’ll be the most powerful source of antioxidants available and the great news is that with an ionized water machine, you have an unlimited supply available.

For just a fraction of a penny a glass, you can be doing your part to reduce the effects of oxidation.

As this water enters your system, it’ll then bond with the free radicals that are present, neutralizing them and slowing down the process of aging.

All of this will be happening as you are hydrating your body. So you’re basically doing two excellent things at once.

You’re making sure that your body has plenty of water, which as we introduced at the start of this article is critical to your health and overall well-being and second, you’re combating oxidative stress.

Who Will Benefit?

So who most benefits from this water filter ionizer?

In a word – everyone.

As each and every one of us is encountering oxidative stress on a daily basis, it doesn’t matter if you are young or old, health or unhealthy, you will benefit.

Some people may benefit to a larger degree than others.

For instance, those who are training very hard whether high-level athletes or simply those who like to push the barrier in what they can do physically will be at great benefit.

All this intense physical activity can create a high level of acid to build-up inside their body, which then serves to increase oxidative effects.  The ionized water can come in and help combat that, pushing this acid out of their system and helping to restore the healthy balance again.

Likewise, those who may already be showing signs of accelerated aging can also really benefit as it’ll help them take back control, slowing the process down so that further damage is not done.

If you are constantly falling ill, this may also indicate a weakened immune system, which could be in part due to oxidative stress and you too will likely benefit more from getting ionized water into place in your life.

Other Uses For An Ionized Water Machine

What’s more is that it’s not just the ionized water that you’ll want to be using here.  Recall how I mentioned that there are two tubes to these machines – one that contains ionized water and one that contains very acidic water?

Well the acidic water can also serve purposes as well.  There are different levels of acidity you can obtain from these machines. At the lower end, the acid based water can be used in a medical setting to help speed up wound healing very well.

And on the higher end, the very acidic water can be used to emulsify oil, which can then be turned into an environmentally friendly cleaning solution.  So from this one machine you’ll reap multiple benefits that you can use for multiple purposes.

In order to be getting the best results from this however, you do need to be sure that you are purchasing a high quality machine. There are plenty of ionized water machines out there but not all will pay off and deliver the benefits that you’re looking for.

You want to be sure that you get a machine that is up to the Iso-13455 standard.  Use this level of machine and you can put your mind at rest that it will be delivering the high quality of water that you’re looking for.

So there you have it – what I would say is one of the easiest and fastest ways to take control over your health, combat aging, and improve your overall level of wellness.

If you are not paying close attention to the water that you’re drinking on a daily basis, I recommend you start now as it will impact you, now or into the future.
