207: Post-pandemic body cleanse for longevity – with David Wolfe

David Wolfe is a man of many talents. He’s a speaker, entrepreneur, and farmer. And he’s on a mission to help people live healthier lives.

These days, David is focused on his third company, which is all about producing clean, healthy products that are free of toxins.

He’s especially excited about their line of wildcrafted pine pollen products, which he believes are the closest thing to bioidentical hormones that exist.

David is also passionate about educating people about the importance of detoxing and cleansing their bodies regularly.  He offers regular fasts through his website Frequency Lifestyle, and he encourages people to take advantage of the many health benefits of activated charcoal.

He is also on a mission to educate people about the importance of trees and the role they play in our environment.

He has spoken at events all over the world, including the TEDx conference, and has written several books on the subject.

In recent years, he has also been working on developing a line of superfoods and health technologies that can help people live healthier lives.

His journey as a tree planter

David Wolfe’s journey as a tree planter and environmentalist began when he was just a small child growing up in New Jersey. He would plant trees in people’s yards without them even knowing it, and water them regularly.

As he grew older, he realized that he could have a bigger impact by starting a foundation dedicated to planting fruit, nut and medicinal trees around the world.

And so, in 2002, he founded the Fruit Tree Planting Foundation with the goal of planting 18 billion trees.

The benefits of fasting

Fasting is a powerful tool that can help the body heal in many ways. When we fast, our bodies are able to rest and repair themselves, and this can lead to improved health and well-being.

There are many benefits of fasting, including:

  • Weight loss
  • Improved mental clarity and focus
  • Increased energy levels
  • Reduced inflammation
  • And even extended life span.

Fasting has also been shown to boost the immune system and help fight against cancer cells.

One of the main ways fasting helps the body heal is by giving the digestive system a break. When we eat less often, our bodies have more time to rest and repair the gut lining.

This can lead to improved gut health and digestion. Additionally, fasting can help detoxify the body by allowing it to burn through stored toxins.

Benefits of water fasting

Water fasting is a powerful way to cleanse the body and mind, and has many benefits.

When you fast, your body is able to rest and heal, as it doesn’t have to work as hard to digest food. This gives your organs a chance to detox and cleanse themselves.

Fasting also helps to boost your immune system, as it helps white blood cells to function more effectively.

In addition, fasting can help you to lose weight, as it forces your body to burn stored fat for energy. It can also help to lower cholesterol levels and reduce inflammation in the body.

Is going vegetarian the right choice for everyone?

David Wolfe says: “Now, I don’t believe that a vegetarian diet is right for everyone. I think it depends on the individual’s health goals and their ability to stick to a strict plan. However, I do think that everyone can benefit from incorporating more plant-based meals into their diet and doing regular detoxes or cleanses.”

Detoxing is important because we live in an increasingly toxic world. Even if we eat organic food and live a healthy lifestyle, we are still exposed to toxins through the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the products we use. These toxins can build up in our bodies over time and contribute to aging and degenerative diseases.”

In this podcast you will learn:

  • The idea to plant 180 million trees
  • The most interesting thing ever found in a tree
  • Is being a vegetarian the right choice for everyone?
  • How fasting evolved over the years?
  • Experiences people have during a water fast?

And so much more.
